Reading and using the Bible – Old Testament 2

January 9, 2021

Does the Old Testament have anything to say to us as Christians? What should we make of the law? What were the prophets on about? Is the Old Testament God different from the New Testament God?

This event is part of Bristol Baptist College course called Prepare Feed Sustain (an access level course of christian learning designed together with Baptist Union of Great Britain). For more information, please click here.

This module is split into two Saturdays, each day has 4 teaching sessions. We provide plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits but recommend that visitors bring their own packed lunch. There is plenty of car parking available either on the college car park or on surrounding streets for no extra charge. Tickets are available for each day separately.

Day 1: 7th November 2020

Day 2: 9th January 2021

Speaker: Revd Dr Helen Paynter; a Tutor at Bristol Baptist College and a Director for the Centre of the Study of the Bible and Violence.
