Here at Seventy-two the scripture which propels our endeavours is Luke 10:1-12, the passage in which Jesus sends out the seventy-two to every town and place where Jesus was about to go.

From time to time we like to share with you resources and ideas which we believe will help equip us all and give us extra courage to go out and share the Good News.

Talking Jesus have just launched a new video based course. Here’s what they’re saying about it:

Most people struggle to talk about Jesus. This course will inspire you to share your faith and will give you practical tips to help you to be natural and relevant as you talk about Jesus with the people you meet.

There are six practical, video-based sessions with short trailer videos to advertise each week’s group session, and inspirational, short testimonies to give real-life examples from people who are talking Jesus.

Together we can make a huge impact on our nation… one by one…. amongst our friends and family as we follow the call of Jesus to share our faith! Are you up for the challenge?

Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu says, ‘The most helpful way people hear the Good News of God in Jesus Christ is by a follower of Jesus Christ sharing their encounter with Jesus Christ. This inspiring course will help Christians to be witnesses to Jesus Christ wherever God has placed them.’

Also from Hope Together…

This year, we all have the chance to mark the centenary of the end of World War 1. On 11 November 2018, people around the country will observe Remembrance Sunday. They will be reflecting on the lives that were changed irrevocably, and those that were lost.

This year also gives us the chance to remember but also to pray and work for peace.

There are many ways in which you, your community, church or school can get involved.
